SAFETY Tamper-proofing.
Pulse dampeners safely closed by tamper-proof segmental lock rings that are retained by a set or boss on the dampener end-plug, such that the ring can not be removed without first de-pressurizing the damper of its pre-fill cushion gas spring.
FAIL SAFE Overload protection

PULSATION DAMPENER FOR fast "change-out".
Dampeners have an end face that is machined to an ANSi flange stud bolt pattern and a raised face. To achieve flow through capability, these capsular dampeners are typically mounted on multi port base blocks. Thru-flo enable pressure pulse and transient spike interception. Released from base block by 4 screws only. Simply remove 4 bolts.

MULTI PORT "thru-flo" Base Blocks:
Provide mounting point and with up to five port. Ports allow flow from multi pump-heads to be directly addressed by one dampener, that suppresses the disturbances before they can "see" each other. This preemptive approach ensures that the energy from one does not add to the excitation force of another.

COST SAVING DAMPENERS with "liquid inside" the BLADDER
Only need the vessel shell, which house the inert Nitrogen pre- filled cushion, to be made from carbon steel. This damper construction cost saving is spent on having a larger diameter. The large Dampener diameter successfully attenuates pressure waves, traveling at 3600 mph that are force into it by the multi-port piping bases.

PULSATION DAMPENERS designed with liquid in the bladder, only
requires a base plug, liquid contact part, and bladder to be compatible with corrosive system liquids, as opposed to the entire vessel being built of high cost metals.

PRE-FILLING DAMPENERS with "liquid inside the BLADDER"
These Pulsation dampeners must have a cushion of nitrogen, or in some specific cases air, outside the rolling bladder before liquid pumping begins. Pre-fill cushion gas pressure prevents the bladder from being unrolled and tortured against the inside of the housing. PRE-FILLING Sometimes called "Pre-Charging" Cushion gas Pre-Filling of the Pulsation Dampeners is done through the stainless steel valve provided. The valve does not require any special tools. There is no "tire valve pin core" in the valve. The valve is opened and closed with a 3/4" (20mm) A/F wrench. Please see inset item 1.

THRU-FLOW flow divider.
