Pulsation Dampener Strut Valve WrenchThere is not one of these core pins in a strut valve. No special tools, or pin depressor is needed.

Do not replace strut valve (nitrogen prefill valve) made of 304 stainless steel for up to 6000 psi or the 9919a nitrogen prefill valve made of duplex stainless steel for up to 20,000 psi.
As PulseGuard wants to learn from reviewing its products, we rebuild with the spares (replacement membranes, diaphragms, bladders) kit for the same price as a spares kit.

Please see strut valve details below. Standard gas cushion drive bonnets are made from SA516 Gr 70 pressure vessel quality plate. Grade 70 because there is no welding on this component. Any other material is available at extra cost. DF series – smooth faced virgin PTFE with encapsulated anti-extrusion stiffener for C.I.P. systems. Z/DF series – additional layer of PTFE for hazardous permeant, toxic and pyroforic applications (optional extra) Alternate diaphragm: Introduced in 1997, billion cycle proven, may be driven against the gas cushion or liquid ends repeatedly, greater permeation resistance than virgin PTFE, longer life at lower cost. Double layer and secondary containment sealing plus telltale permeation detection for Chloros –ines, -ics, and Bromines, -ides, Nitric. Spares Kit parts are SK/DW---MTFE, SK/”Z”DW---MTFE, or SK/DF---TFE, etc. Liquid Chamber at least 6x diameter of inlet and 8x diameter of system connection. This provides discharge and convergence coefficients which, with the liquid mass from only pre-filling to 50% of working pressure, dissipates pressure transients. Permeation Detection enables maintenance scheduling for diaphragm or seal replacement and corrosion inspection. PTFE, glass filament strand makes detection path, 1/4” NPT for permeation detection. *Do not disturb your pipe system integrity, release the dampener from piping base. Replace dampener with the by-passing block. Then disassemble pulsation dampener. LP by-passes are fabricated from 2:1 SE head + flat face flange Torque Sequence - Recommended tightening torque values, by bolt diameter and bolt grade.
