PipeGuard Pulsation Dampener with Elastomer Bladder
Single connection versions are for flow fluctuation reduction, PipeGuard pulsation dampeners however have two connections, either direct in, or in piping base blocks, and dampen to some extent, but not as properly as the PulseGuard Inc. PipeHugger range of large diameter dampeners. The benefit of the PipeGuard "dampeners" is that being small diameter, which of itself reduces their dampening efficiency, they are lower cost particularly for higher pressures, where the pressure shell has to be stainless steel for external corrosion resistance reasons.
The Gas bag (bladder) is molded as one piece, Our gas bags (bladders) are not glued together. Our gas bags (bladders) have an internal cushion corner to prevent their damage when bring compressed around their head plug. The PipeGuard range has gas bag (bladder) within which there are tension webs. These webs work in tension to ensure that the central end "anti-extrusion plate" aka "button" does not dangle free off center, then fail to cover the liquid connections, and thereby allow the gas bag (bladder) to vomit down the liquid connection.
